Investigation into sale of heroin, cocaine, results in 12 arrests

OSSIPEE, New Hampshire — Authorities say a 3-monthlong investigation into the sale of heroin and cocaine in New Hampshire's Carroll County has ended in the arrest of 12 people.

Carroll County Sheriff Domenic Richardi said his office, and police in Wakefield and Wolfeboro were conducting drug investigations in those two communities and in Milton.

The nine men and three women have been released on bail and await arraignment. They range in age from 20 to 46.
