He did it his way: Sinatra captures Aqueduct's feature

NEW YORK — Sinatra beat Vinny Goodtimes by a half-length Wednesday in the $69,000 allowance feature at Aqueduct.

Second for most of the race, Sinatra prevailed in the deep stretch for his third win in eight starts. Ridden by Rajiv Maragh and trained by Jimmy Jerkens, the 5-year-old gelding ran 1 1/16 miles on the turf in 1:44.07.

Sinatra paid $5.80, $3.20 and $2.90. Vinny Goodtimes returned $4 and $4.40, and Lots of Love Mom paid $7.70 to show.
