Wyoming sophomore running back D.J. May suffers knee injury during practice this week

LARAMIE, Wyoming — Wyoming sophomore running back D.J. May suffered a knee injury during practice this week.

The UW athletics department says injury occurred on Wednesday.

However, the severity of the injury hadn't yet been determined and it wasn't immediately known whether May would be able to play Saturday at Colorado State.

May was suspended from last weekend's game against San Jose State because of a violation of team rules.

He is the team's second leading rusher.
