Anne Arundel County police told The Capital (http://bit.ly/1EW2pBc) the accident happened Tuesday night around 7:30 p.m. on Route 2. The victims haven't been identified pending notification of family. The road was closed in both directions but reopened late Tuesday night.

This is the second serious crash in Arnold in less than 24 hours. A 25-year-old Annapolis man was critically injured in a single car accident early Tuesday morning. Eric Angelo Tyler is in critical condition after his Mercedes left the roadway, struck and severed a utility pole.
