Wyoming holds first scrimmage of spring on Saturday; Bohl seeks to evaluate players

Share/Save/Bookmark

LARAMIE, Wyoming — Wyoming coach Craig Bohl says the first scrimmage of spring practice may be lengthy depending on the health of the players.

The first scrimmage is set for Saturday.

Bohl says he wants a robust scrimmage in order for coaches to get a better evaluation of the team.

Saturday's scrimmage will be run like a normal practice, but it will be closed to the public.

Bohl said the scrimmage will likely pit the No. 1 offense against the No. 1 defense and No. 2 offensive and defensive units against one another.

Spring practice concludes April 19 with the spring game, which will be open to the public.
