Landon Donovan scores once, sets up 2 goals as Galaxy beat Union 4-1

CHESTER, Pennsylvania — Landon Donovan scored one goal and set up two more to lead the Los Angeles Galaxy past the Philadelphia Union 4-1 Wednesday in Major League Soccer.

Robbie Keane and Hector Jimenez also scored for the two-time defending MLS Cup champion Galaxy, who broke a rare two-game losing streak with three second-half goals.

In the process, Donovan became the fourth player in club history to play in 200 games. He has 94 goals, the most in club history.

Amobi Okugo scored for the Union.

The Galaxy went ahead 1-0 in the third minute thanks to an own goal when a corner bounced off Philadelphia goalkeeper Zac MacMath and into the net.

Okugo equalized in the 23rd minute when he headed home a long throw-in by Sheanon Williams.

In the 71st minute, Keane gave the Galaxy a 2-1 advantage before Jimenez sealed the win in the 80th and Donovan found the net in the 87th.
