Game and Fish relocates sub-adult male grizzly bear damaging fruit trees and bird feeders

JACKSON, Wyoming — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has trapped and relocated a sub-adult male grizzly bear that was damaging fruit trees and bird feeders near Ralston in Park County.

In cooperation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, the bear was relocated to about 10 miles north of Moran Junction in Teton County.

The release site is located in currently occupied grizzly bear habitat.
