LIHUE, Hawaii — Kauai Police say a 60 year-old woman died Tuesday morning when she was struck by two vehicles in Lihue.

The Garden Island (http://bit.ly/Zsh05Q) reports the woman was walking along Rice Street and at about 6:15 a.m. attempted to cross in a marked crosswalk in front of the Bank of Hawaii.

A westbound pickup struck the woman.

Police say the male driver stopped to render aid and a second westbound vehicle also struck the woman.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was not immediately released.
