Man accused of setting fire in Newport in May

NEWPORT, New Hampshire — A man has been accused of setting a fire outside a building in Newport, New Hampshire, earlier this year.

Police have accused 26-year-old Corey Hale of Claremont of setting the fire on Central Street in May.

WMUR-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1pain5e) Hale has been charged with one count of arson. It was not immediately known if he had a lawyer.

Firefighters said three other suspicious fires that night remain under investigation.
