SPOKANE, Washington — Spokane Police say they have arrested a person of interest in death of a 22-year-old woman found shot in her apartment last week.

KXLY reports that police on Thursday located 28-year-old Cameron Keith and arrested him on an outstanding warrant. He was booked into Spokane County Jail.

Police spokeswoman Monique Cotton says police anticipate additional charges to be filed as part of the death investigation.

Police have been looking for Keith to question him about the death of Christen DeMars, who died March 24 after being shot in the stomach. Demars had a restraining order against Keith and police say he may have been at the scene around the time of the shooting.

The Spokane County medical examiner's office said Thursday that DeMars died of a gunshot wound but that the manner of her death is pending police investigation.
