SANTA BARBARA, California — Alan Williams scored 22 points and grabbed 18 rebounds and Zalmico Harmon added 20 points and 10 assists as UC Santa Barbara beat Cal State Fullerton 80-65 on Saturday.
UC Santa Barbara (18-7, 9-3 Big West) raced to an early 13-2 advantage, held Cal State Fullerton (9-17, 4-8) to just 21 first-half points and led by as many as 18 in the second en route to its sixth victory in its last seven games.
Michael Bryson added 14 points for UC Santa Barbara, which shot 56.5 percent from the field. Williams finished 8 of 11 from the field while Bryson went 5 of 8.
Michael Williams led Cal State Fullerton with 29 points, hitting 5 of 10 from 3-point range. Alex Harris added 13 points for the Titans, who shot just 38.2 percent from the field.
