DETROIT — A man has been killed and a second man injured in separate snowmobile accidents.

WILX-TV reports Sunday that a 34-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, died after his snowmobile hit a parked truck Saturday night.

The man and a friend were snowmobiling near Devils Lake in Lenawee County, about 70 miles southwest of Detroit.

TV station WPBN-WTOM reports that a 35-year-old man was injured when his snowmobile hit a snowbank about 4 p.m. Saturday on Lake Cadillac, about 35 miles south of Traverse City.

The man was thrown from the snowmobile. Authorities say speed may have factored into the crash.
