W.Va. inmate gets more prison time for attacking fellow prisoner

ELKINS, W.Va. — An inmate will spend at least another year behind bars for attacking a fellow prisoner at the Huttonsville Correctional Center.

Cody Allen Fetty pleaded guilty this week in Randolph County Circuit Court to one felony count of an offense committed by an inmate.

The Inter-Mountain (http://bit.ly/JD0hBu ) reports that Circuit Judge Jaymie Godwin Wilfong sentenced Fetty to one to five years in prison. The sentence is to run consecutively with his current sentence.

The 23-year-old Fetty admitted in court to attacking Jonathan R. Peyatt while both were inmates at the Huttonsville prison.

Hearings are scheduled Friday for two other inmates charged in the March 31, 2011, incident.
