Gilda's LaughFest in western Michigan announces headlining performers for 5th annual event

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan — An annual festival of laughter in western Michigan is announcing its headlining acts.

Organizers of Gilda's LaughFest say Tuesday that George Lopez, Patton Oswalt, Wanda Sykes, Bo Burnham and Pete Holmes are among the performers. Others include Lavell Crawford, Billy Gardell and Brian Posehn.

Festival director Joanne Roehm says in a statement "we were looking to bring back some of our most popular acts from festival's past while continuing to bring fresh faces."

The event runs March 5-15. LaughFest honors the memory of comedian Gilda Radner, who died of ovarian cancer in 1989.
