Posse Dreamin draws off in the stretch to win $60,000 Jersey Juvenile Stakes at Monmouth Park

OCEANPORT, New Jersey — Posse Dreamin took the lead around the far turn and drew off in the stretch to beat Little Hitman by two lengths and win the $60,000 Jersey Juvenile Stakes at Monmouth Park on Saturday.

Trained by his owner, Edwin Broome, and ridden by Pedro Cotto Jr., the 2-year-old colt ran the six furlongs over a fast track in 1:11 1-5 and paid $6.40, $3.60 and $3.40. It was the second win in five career starts for Posse Dreamin, who has now earned $92,800.

Little Hitman returned $4.60 and $3.40, while Skirt Stake was five lengths back in third and paid $6.80.
