CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Reds did not offer 2014 contracts to Xavier Paul and Derrick Robinson before Monday night's deadline, making each of the outfielders a free agent.
Paul hit .244 with seven homers and 32 RBIs in 97 games in his second season with the Reds. Robinson made his major league debut last season and batted .255 in 102 games.
Teams had until midnight to offer 2014 contracts to unsigned players on their 40-man rosters.
