Upstate New York man charged with manslaughter in fatal stabbing


BINGHAMTON, New York — An upstate New York man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with a fatal stabbing.

Binghamton Police say 28-year-old Adam Gray was stabbed in the leg during a physical altercation with 30-year-old Donniel Trent early Saturday.

The Press & Sun-Bulletin of Binghamton ( ) reports that Gray was taken to Lourdes Hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Police have charged Trent with one count of first-degree manslaughter. He's being held in the city lockup awaiting arraignment.
