Columbus Blue Jackets say center Artem Anisimov to miss 2-3 months with torn triceps muscle

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Blue Jackets have placed Artem Anisimov on injured reserve as a result of a torn triceps muscle sustained Saturday at Nashville, an injury expected to sideline the center for two-to-three months.

Anisimov, who missed seven games this season due to an upper body injury, has two goals and four assists for six points with four penalty minutes in 16 games for Columbus this season. The Russian has 81 goals and 90 assists with 122 penalty minutes in 376 games with the Blue Jackets and New York Rangers.
