Police investigate after finding man's body found in alley, no signs of foul play reported

CINCINNATI — Police are investigating after discovering a man's body in an alley in Cincinnati.

WLWT-TV and The Cincinnati Enquirer report that police received a call shortly before 7 Saturday night and responded to an alley in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. Police said a passerby reported finding an unresponsive person in the alley. Authorities say the man was dead.

Cincinnati police Sgt. Daniel O'Malley told The Cincinnati Enquirer that there were no signs of foul play that could immediately be identified. Police canvassed the scene for information and were working to determine the person's identity.

Police said Sunday that they had no additional information to release.

The Hamilton County Coroner's Office is investigating to determine the cause of death.
