NEW ORLEANS — The Louisiana Lottery Commission says a Lotto ticket bought in New Orleans is worth $835,701, but nobody won the jackpots for Easy 5 or the Powerball.
That means Wednesday's estimated Powerball jackpot rises to $70 million. The estimated jackpots for Louisiana-only big-money lotteries are $250,000 for Lotto and $90,000 for Easy 5.
Ticket sales determine jackpots. The actual Lotto jackpot listed by the Louisiana Lottery Commission was $10,000 more than the estimated amount.
The second-biggest prize won in Louisiana for Saturday night's drawings was $10,000, for a Powerball ticket matching four numbers plus the Powerball.
