Western NY woman admits fatally stabbing boyfriend, faces 25 years for manslaughter

BUFFALO, New York — A 54-year-old western New York woman has admitted stabbing her boyfriend to death last year.

Eric County District Attorney Frank Sedita III says Darlene Benson-Seay pleaded guilty Monday to first-degree manslaughter for killing 59-year-old Ronald Wilson in their Buffalo home on Sept. 9.

Benson-Seay is facing up to 25 years in prison when she's sentenced Aug. 3.
