BISMARCK, North Dakota — A group that provides grants to developers of North Dakota farm products will consider funding seven projects at its quarterly meeting.

The Agricultural Products Utilization Commission meets Feb. 19 in Bismarck to review funding requests that total more than $418,000.

The largest request is $150,000 from Wahpeton-based Giant Snacks Inc., which wants to expand marketing into California, Texas and Mexico. Another large request is from Abbiamo Pasta Co. in Casselton — about $77,000 to find an alternative to eggs in pasta.

APUC is a program of the state Commerce Department.
