GEORGETOWN, Delaware — Delaware State Police say a Millsboro man was killed when the car he was driving left the road and hit a tree in Georgetown.

It happened about 11:30 a.m. Monday on Savannah Road. Troopers say 32-year-old Troy J. Bradford was driving on Savannah Road when his car, which was traveling too fast for the wet and curving road, began to rotate.

Police say the car drove off the road into a wooded area, crashing into a tree on the driver's side.

Bradford was pronounced dead at the scene.
