COLUMBIA, South Carolina — The deadline is here for anyone hoping to vote in fall elections in South Carolina this fall.

The State Election Commission says Saturday is the deadline to register to vote in the November 4 general election.

Anyone who has recently moved or had a name change should also make sure to update voting information.

Registration and updates can be made online at scvotes.org. Officials say that requires a South Carolina driver's license or Department of Motor Vehicles identification card.

People can also go to county voter registration and elections offices, most of which should be open Saturday morning. Forms can also be mailed, faxed or emailed as long as it's done so by Saturday.
