WILMINGTON, Delaware — A Newark man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for possession of child pornography.

Sixty-three-year-old Andrew J. Alvarez was sentenced Friday in New Castle County Superior Court.

Prosecutors say during an investigation, detectives got multiple files from an online source traced to Alvarez's home. Authorities say a forensic review of more than a dozen computers at the home turned up 304 videos and images containing child pornography.
