American Eric Willet wins men's snowboarding slopestyle at US Grand Prix

PARK CITY, Utah — American Eric Willett won the men's snowboarding slopestyle event at the U.S. Grand Prix.

The United States swept the men's side of the event Friday with Charles Guldemond taking second place and Eric Beauchemin finishing third.

Cheryl Maas of the Netherlands put together the top score of the day on her first run in the women's slopestyle and no other snowboarder come close to her mark of 87.75. American Karly Shorr took second place, while Sweden's Elena Koenz took third.
