Body found of man missing from Friday flood; Central Texas death toll now 7

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — The body of a seventh person killed in last week's Central Texas flooding has been recovered.

Comal County officials say David Bruce Giller had been missing since leaving for work at 7 a.m. Friday. His unoccupied vehicle was found washed downstream in Rebecca Creek Friday evening, and a statement issued by the county Monday says the body of the 52-year-old man was found Sunday afternoon.

Two bodies were recovered in the Austin and San Antonio areas Friday. Four more bodies were recovered Saturday, two in the Austin area and two in the Houston area.
