CABOT, Arkansas — Arkansas State Police say a Jacksonville woman was killed when she was struck by a vehicle as she tried to walk across U.S. Highway 67 near Cabot.

A state police report says 71-year-old Margaret Davis died after the collision at about 5 p.m. Monday.

The report says Davis was crossing the southbound lanes of the highway when she was struck. The report says the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the accident.
