SLIDELL, Louisiana — Authorities have arrested a 29-year-old Slidell man on accusations he downloaded and distributed child pornography.

Attorney General Buddy Caldwell's office says Jeremy Petry was arrested Wednesday following an undercover investigation.

Caldwell's office said Petry was booked in the St. Tammany Parish jail on 25 counts of distributing pornography involving juveniles after authorities executed a search warrant at his home.

If convicted, Petry could face up to 20 years in prison on each count.

It was unclear whether he has an attorney.
