HELENA, Montana — Montana Lottery officials say three people have recently claimed major prizes.
Timothy Werk of Hays claimed a $50,000 top prize from the "Slingo Trio" scratch game. He bought his winning ticket at Holiday in Havre.
Steven Ewing of Lame Deer claimed a $10,000 Powerball prize from a ticket purchased at Town Pump in Colstrip for the Nov. 27 drawing. He says he plans to use the money to take a vacation.
Chili Walking Eagle of Wolf Point claimed a $10,000 prize while playing the "$250,000 Instant Jackpot" scratch game. She bought her ticket at Town Pump in Wolf Point. She says her winnings will help with her Christmas shopping.
