Police search for suspect in Manchester, NH, bank robbery

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire — Police are looking for the suspect in an afternoon bank robbery in the New Hampshire city of Manchester.

Police say man demanded cash from a clerk at the TD Banknorth on Franklin Street shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday and then fled.

He's described as a white man, about 6 feet tall, with a scruffy facial hair and wearing glasses. Police say he's about 20 to 30 years old and was wearing a gray or black fleece hat with a red line around the brim.

Police have released bank surveillance photos of the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call Manchester police at 603-668-8711.
