Camden man charged with murder in fatal 2012 shooting at southern NJ apartment complex

LINDENWOLD, New Jersey — Prosecutors say a Camden man has been charged with murder in the shooting death of a man slain at a southern New Jersey apartment complex late last year.

Bail was set Wednesday at $1 million for Turon Frisbey, who was captured Tuesday night in Camden. The 27-year-old Frisbey is charged in the Dec. 8 shooting of 32-year-old Sal Bowman of Lindenwold.

Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk says Frisbey and Bowman had fought in a Clementon bar shortly before the shooting occurred at the Arborwood Apartments, the complex where Bowman lived. Witnesses say the victim was walking away from Frisbey when he was shot multiple times.

It was not known if Frisbey has retained a lawyer.
