NAMPA, Idaho — A 34-year-old Nampa woman who police say stabbed her boyfriend to death has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder.
Susana Quijano also on Friday in 3rd District Court pleaded not guilty to destruction of evidence and use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony.
Prosecutors say Quijano stabbed Santiago Gamino, who is also known as Santiago Delgado Pineda, on Oct. 12 at his home in Nampa.
Police say she then put the knife back in her purse and fled. Prosecutors say they do not believe she planned the stabbing.
Quijano was arrested the next day and is being held in the Canyon County Jail on $1 million bond.
Her next court appearance is set for Nov. 27.
