ANAHEIM, California — Authorities have chased and stopped a stolen car that had the words "We Support Our Local Police Dept." scrawled on the back window.

The driver and three passengers were taken into custody Friday afternoon.

The Orange County Register (http://bit.ly/1H7zfO3 ) says the car was reported stolen from the Buena Park Hotel and was spotted by police around 12:30 p.m.

The black Toyota Corolla fled into neighboring Anaheim, at times speeding, running red lights and driving on the wrong side of the street near Disneyland.

A patrol car tried several times to bump the car and make it spin out but failed.

After nearly a half-hour, the driver cut through a shopping center, hit some grocery cars and stopped.

He was arrested on suspicion of grand theft auto and evading police.
