Man gets 4 life sentences for raping 13-year-old girl in vacant Baltimore house

BALTIMORE — A 50-year-old man has been sentenced to four life sentences plus 25 years in prison for repeatedly raping a 13-year-old girl in a vacant Baltimore house.

Alvin Ray Wright Sr. was convicted in February of three counts of rape and other offenses. He was sentenced on Wednesday.

Prosecutors say on Oct. 17, 2011, the victim was walking on North Caroline Street when Wright grabbed her from behind, pulled her into a nearby house and raped her.
