Northern Iowa man gets 25 years in prison for shooting another man during fight

ALGONA, Iowa — A Wesley man has been given 25 years in prison for shooting another Wesley man during a fight.

Andrew Zeitler, 26, was sentenced on Monday in Kossuth County District Court. Zeitler had been charged with attempted murder and other crimes, but he made a deal with prosecutors. He pleaded guilty to lesser charges: willful injury and two weapons counts in the July 21 shooting of Dustin Kiefer, 26, during the fight.
