Milwaukee's homicide toll is already nearly as large as all of 2014

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee's homicide toll is growing and it's already nearly as large as all of last year.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports (http://bit.ly/1HydepU ) a 35-year-old man who was shot Saturday has died, making his death the 85th this year. There were 86 homicides in 2014.

The latest victim had been treated for his injuries at a hospital, and his death was reported by police in a news release early Sunday.

No suspect is in custody.
