Eastern Maine gets bulk of the snow in latest storm to hit the state

GRAY, Maine — A storm that rolled through overnight is going leave a fresh carpet of snow across most of Maine.

James Brown of the National Weather Service says 7 to 8 inches of snow is expected across the Midcoast and Down East regions.

To the south, the snow was expected to mix with rain.

Brown says the forecast calls for sunny skies on Monday and for much of the rest of the week.
