North Dakota Secretary of State says 8 measures will appear on November ballot

BISMARCK, North Dakota — North Dakota Secretary of State Al Jaeger says eight measures will appear on the ballot in November.

Jaeger says the last time this many measures were on the ballot was in the June 1996 election, when North Dakotans voted on nine proposals.

The measures on this year's ballot deal with pharmacy ownership, abortion, mortgage taxes, higher education leadership, initiated measures and petitions, funding for conservation measures, parental rights, and school start date.
