Arab American National Museum in Dearborn seeks papers, performers for biennial arts forum

DEARBORN, Michigan — Michigan's Arab American National Museum is calling for papers, presentations and performers for its biennial arts forum.

The Dearborn museum's 6th DIWAN: A Forum for the Arts will be held May 7-9, and will accept proposals until Dec. 15. All artistic mediums will be considered by a committee of professional Arab American artists.

The forum was created to unite U.S. Arab artists, scholars and performers representing a wide range of academic fields and artistic genres. Organizers say it reinforces their commitment for the museum to be a hub for community members and artists to exhibit work and exchange ideas.
