GREENVILLE, South Carolina — Authorities say a Greenville man tried to drive himself to the hospital after being shot.

Deputies say dispatchers got a call just before 9 p.m. Wednesday about a shooting. The man said he had been shot in his side through the passenger window of his car, and dispatchers told him to pull over.

Deputies found the man and had him taken to a hospital.

Authorities say the man's injuries don't appear to be life-threatening. His name has not been released, and the shooting is still under investigation.
