2 more arrested in dragging of police officer down central Pennsylvania street

GLEN ROCK, Pennsylvania — Authorities say two more people have been arrested in the dragging of a police officer by a car down central Pennsylvania street.

Southern Regional police said an officer approached a suspicious car in Glen Rock last week but a man on the passenger side grabbed his arm and the driver sped off. Officials said the officer was dragged for about 50 yards, leaving him with an ankle injury and abrasions.

Southern Regional police said 38-year-old Roberto Tabares of Rockville, Maryland — accused of being the driver — and 37-year-old Jenny Kim of Germantown, Maryland were arrested Tuesday night in Maryland. Court documents don't list attorneys who could respond to the charges. A listed number for Kim couldn't be found; Tabares' mother declined comment. David Achstetter was arrested earlier.
