Florida Highway Patrol investigating hit-and-run that killed pedestrian

ORLANDO, Florida — The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for vehicle suspected in a hit-and-run that killed one pedestrian and injured another.

Authorities say the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. Friday when a male driver of an SUV attempted to pull out of a driveway and collided with 59-year-old Paul Money and 45-year-old Michelle Geitz.

Money later was pronounced dead at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Geitz sustained minor injuries.

The vehicle is described as a dark-colored SUV which authorizes believe may be a jeep.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is being asked to contact FHP at 407-737-2213.
