WILMINGTON, Delaware — Police in Wilmington say a New Castle man is facing charges in an August shooting that killed a woman and injured her 4-year-old daughter and another woman.

Police announced Thursday in a news release that 31-year-old Thomas Robles of New Castle was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder, assault, robbery, home invasion and weapons offenses.

Police say 25-year-old Latrice Blackshear of Wilmington died after the shooting at a home on West 7th Street on Aug. 10. Her 4-year-old daughter was shot in the legs and a 51-year-old woman was shot in her left leg.

Robles is being held at the Howard Young Correctional Facility without bail.
