2 charged in numerous Delaware burglaries; jewelry, firearms were stolen


DOVER, Delaware — Delaware State Police have charged two men in numerous burglaries in Kent County that began in May.

Troopers say burglars entered the unoccupied home and stolen jewelry and firearms, the selling the jewelry at pawn shops.

Police say on June 5, investigators on surveillance in Felton saw two men driving away from a development. Officers arrested the men, and a search of their vehicle led to the discovery of 18 firearms.

Twenty-five-year-old Daniel P. Everett and 25-year-old Robert Wright III, both of Harrington, were charged with dozens of counts of burglary and theft.
