Vancouver police wound armed man who reportedly threatened family

VANCOUVER, Washington — Police wounded an armed man they say had threatened family members Sunday night at a home in Vancouver.

Police say an officer shot the man when he refused commands from arriving officers.

He was taken to a hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

When he's released from the hospital, police say he'll be jailed for investigation of domestic violence assault.
