COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado — Frontier Airlines is resuming service to Colorado Springs with a daily flight to Las Vegas starting in April.

The airline announced Tuesday that it was adding the route as it expands beyond its Denver hub to cities with little low-cost competition.

The Gazette (http://bit.ly/1OphOv6) reports that Frontier stopped flying from Colorado Springs in April 2013 after a failed experiment operating nonstop flights to four cities from it.

The introductory fare for the Colorado Springs-Las Vegas flight will be $19. The regular fare will be $59.
