TUCSON, Arizona — Tucson police say a suspect in the 2010 killing of a 24-year-old man in Tucson has been arrested in Virginia.

Police worked with federal authorities and the Gloucester County Sheriff's Office to track down Nicholas John Romeo. Romeo, who is 27 years old, is a suspect in the shooting death of Benjamin Pereyda at a Tucson bar after a parking lot altercation that spilled over inside the bar.

Tucson police have said two men were suspects in the shooting, but they have not identified the other one.

Romeo is facing one count of second-degree murder and will be extradited to Tucson.
