The Serbian defender left the field shortly before halftime of the 1-0 victory after colliding with United goalkeeper David de Gea.
Vidic was sent to a hospital for examination, and United said Monday that the player had been released the previous evening.
Vidic is not due to play again until Nov. 24 when United plays Cardiff.
