Reward offered for information in slaying of Huntsville man shot to death in his driveway

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — A reward is being offered in the slaying of a Huntsville man who was shot to death in his driveway.

WAFF-TV reports (http://bit.ly/13ZHicB ) that friends and family of Alonzo McGhee have offered $5,000 in reward money, and the Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers program added another $1,000.

The 41-year-old McGhee was shot several times in January. A neighbor told police at the time that McGhee was pulling out of his driveway when someone shot into the driver's side. McGhee was hit several times and the shooter fled.

Court records show he had recently divorced from his wife.
